DISEASES OF SKIN




A skin disorder can happen because of certain surroundings, nutrition deficiency or long term ailments. Here is some commonly seen rash issues and how they can be treated:

Acne :

Signs : A rash, hyperpigmented or hypopigmented plaques on the face OR back/shoulders.

Treatment :

Use a non-chemical cleanser.

Over-the-counter gels and creams like benzoyl peroxide, salgolac acid or retinoids.

Making changes in your diet such as decrease of high-fat foods.

Dry Skin :

Signs: Dry, scaly red skin.

Treatment :

Apply a moisturizer or dim cream.

Instead clean skin with lukewarm water, not hot.

Have some water and a balanced meal.

Eczema (Eczema) :

Disease : Causes of eczema that lead to red, itchy skin thick in the groin area.

Treatment :

Apply Moisturizer (for face):

Creams recommended by doctor which contain steroid.

Mild soap is best; Avoid hot water!

Psoriasis :

Signs and Symptoms: red patches on the skin, scales that look shiny or silver (like sage leaves), itching

Treatment :

Corticosteroid or vitamin D topical creams or lotions

UV therapy.

Treatment like systemic therapies

Sunburn :

Signs: Erythematous skin with or without blisters, pain.

Treatment :

Rinse off in a cool shower instead of burning hot water and apply suitable sunburn ointments.

Drink and drink more water.

Remember to wear sunscreen and keep out of the sun.
